Bala Krishna or Sambandhar
Vijayanagar – 15th-16th Century – South India

Bala Krishna is shown dancing with the left foot placed on a circular pedestal. The first finger of the right hand is in suchi-mudra. The wavy locks are dressed high (jata-mukuta), with spiral curls on the forehead and braided locks hanging on the back.
