This will be a blog post with even less verbiage than normal 🙂 Below are some random shots I took whilst exploring the streets of Jaipur on foot. By far the most interesting place to do this is directly opposite the Hawa Mahal in the early morning, before the traffic builds up too much.
From across the street you can get some interesting shots of people walking past on foot, with the Hawa Mahal serving as the backdrop. Granted the scene might be a bit of a cliche, but it kept me amused for a couple of hours…
The final shots in this set were taken directly outside the Haveli where I was staying. I left Jaipur the day before Holi started, this was a neighbourhood gathering with live music and food – I wish I could have stayed for longer (I was encouraged to do so!), but I had a plane to catch. Rajasthan is immensely colourful.
